Robert Drake, a successful business owner himself, shares with us his winning perspective on how you, as an owner/operator, can use your personality and passion as a marketing asset. MyQueerWedding.com presents an interactive 90 minute workshop on the essentials of needs-based selling, including how to use your personal style to effectively sell.

Robert Drake will offer guidance and information to help you:

  • explore your own attitudes and selling abilities
  • explore the basics of effective needs-based selling to emphasize your own authentic style with proven selling techniques
  • develop a working "general benefit" or value statement for your company
  • look at what YOUR BRAND is or should be
  • look at particular sales problems each of you are experiencing
  • set sales or selling goals for your own organization or product/service

Robert DrakeRobert Drake is VP of Business Development and Operations for Angelica Limousines. He has a BS in Philosophy and is currently finalizing his thesis for an MS in Conflict Resolution. His career background includes nearly 3 decades of building, training and managing sales and marketing teams in manufacturing, medical, and hospitality industries.

A life-time sales person and trainer, Robert is also an experienced mediator and negotiator and has successfully negotiated contracts as large as $500 million. He has also built and managed year-long multi-media advertising campaigns. His service training includes 4-star destination resort spa/hotels. He likes to sell and has been told he can sell anything he believes in. Robert is also a no-wetsuit Bay swimmer and last year swam from Alcatraz.
