Alexander Uloom, Iraqi-American actor and model, signs with Hyperion – Deadline

Exclusive: Iraqi American actor and model Alexander Uloom The LA-based Hyperion Talent Agency has signed with LA and Middle East production and management company House of M, and U.S. law firms Goodman, Zeno, Schenkman, Smelkinson, and Christopher.

Uloom, who is set to star in the upcoming MBC Iraq series Broken diamonds (Almas Maksur), MBC Iraq and Shaheed VIP (MBC’s Free VoD Platform) drama started in the Middle East last year. Surrogate mother (A Badila)

Uloom moved to the United States at the age of six as a refugee and survivor of the First Gulf War. He settled in Seattle and began a new life, separated from his mother during the conflict.

He signed a contract to play professional football for Arizona Storm in the Arena Soccer League and worked as a contractor and translator for the U.S. Army before returning to the Middle East where he continued to further develop his craft as an actor.
