CW Canadian Drama Series Achieves ‘Family Law’ – Deadline

CW continues to expand its scripted acquisition slate by adding Canadian drama series Family law, One hour legal drama from Entertainment One. A premiere date is TBD.

Produced, written and executive produced by Susin Nielsen, Family law, Star Jewel State (Firefly) And Amy and Tony nominated Victor Garber (DC’s) Legends of the futureWith Zach Smadu (Basic) And Janelle Williams (Expansion).

The drama series follows the lawyer and the alcoholic Abigail Bianchi (State) struggles to get her career and family back together after hitting the rock. As a condition of her trial, Abby was forced to work at her estranged father Harry’s (Garber) firm, Svensson and Associates, and to practice family law for the first time while forging a new relationship with her half-brother Daniel (Smadu) and half. -Sister Lucy (Williams) whom he has never met.
