It all starts with a song, because the music business is self-evident. But if the song stays the same, the chances of seeing the 64th annual Grammy Awards this Sunday are multiplied.
The event airs live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8 PM ET / PM PT, with red carpet coverage starting one hour earlier. Las Vegas is hosting the 2022 Awards, a change from the usual New York / Los Angeles axis. This is due to the epidemic, which has prevented this year’s event from being originally scheduled for January in Los Angeles. Of the Daily Show Trevor Noah hosted for the second year in a row.
The show will air from CBS’s MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and is only available to television viewers, and Paramount + will have a live online stream and on-demand version.
You can watch the pre-show of the regular event, when about 76 of the 86 prizes were handed out. The event, known as the premiere, starts at 3:30 Eastern, 12:30 Pacific and will be available for viewing on grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.
Grammy winner and current nominee Lever Burton will host the premiere at the MGM Grand Conference Marquee Ballroom. Madison Cunningham, Falu, Nenna Freelon, Kalani Peya, John Popper and Isaacs will open the show. Others nominated to perform include current nominees Jimmy Allen, Lady, Mann Lafart, Alison Russell and Curtis Stewart.
