Correspondent Marjorie Taylor Green says she has filed a complaint with the Capitol Police against Jimmy Kimmel for a joke and is apparently not joking.
The Georgia Republican tweeted a clip of Kimmel from the host’s monologue late Tuesday night Jimmy Kimmel Live! Where the comic said about Green, “This woman, Klan Ma, is upset with the three Republican senators who said they would vote yes to Ketanji Brown Jackson, who has been nominated to the Supreme Court. He tweeted, ‘Murkowski, Collins, and Romney is pro-pedophile. They just voted for KBJ. ‘ Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him? “
Green’s tweet included his text message, “হুমABC, this threat of violence against me by @JimmyKimel has been filed with ্যাপCapitalPolice.”
Last night, Kimmel responded with a tweet of her own, retweeting Green’s tweet and writing, “Officer? I want to report a joke. “
Capitol police have not yet confirmed Green’s allegations.
