Apple TV + has set a June premiere date for the season 2 premiere of its acclaimed dark comedy series Physical. The streamer also released first-look photos of the new season (see above and below).
Produced by Rose Byrne, starring and executing producer, writer and EP Annie Weissman, the second season of the 10-episode will premiere with the first episode on June 3, followed by a new episode every Friday weekly.
In the second season, our hero Sheila Rubin (Bayern) has successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and big obstacles in her way. She is torn between loyalty to her husband (Scowell) and the values she represents and the dangerous attraction to someone else. And since he is no longer the only sport in town, he has outdone some formidable new competitors on his way to building a full-fledged fitness empire.
As previously announced, White lotus Star Murray Bartlett has joined Season 2 as Vincent ‘Winnie’ Green, a charismatic fitness instructor, weight loss guru and pioneer of late night infomercials. Rory Scovel, Deirdre Frill, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Puchi and Paul Sparks rounded out the emblem cast.
