Exclusive: REinvent International Sales has signed an agreement with North America The Dark HeartFrom the Swedish truth-crime series Guilty Director Gustav Moeller, US rights and public broadcaster CBC Gem Canada took over the streaming service topic.
The show, co-produced by Oskar Söderlund (Easy Money), premiered at Sundance this year and recently appeared in Series Mania, where it won the Best Series award in the International Panorama category.

CBC Gem will air the show this summer, six months later with the topic.
The Dark Heart is produced by Anna Carlstein and Caroline Landerberg / FLX for Discovery +, co-produced by Film Eye Scan and in collaboration with Reinvent International Sales.
The deal was negotiated by Jennifer Liang, VP of Acquisition, and Peter Ahlen, Reinvent’s senior sales manager, while the deal for CBC was negotiated by Jenna Bordeau, CBC’s senior director of acquisitions, and Sun Aren, Reinvent’s senior sales manager.
