TikTok is reportedly testing a new ‘Clock History’ feature to allow users

We’ve all been there – swiping on TikTok, laughing as always, and all of a sudden the video that gave you so much fun is gone. Well, the popular short-form video app is reportedly testing a new feature so you don’t miss any more videos!

According to The Verge, TikTok’s potential new “Watch History” feature will allow users to revisit videos they’ve watched in the last seven days.

A company spokesperson said: “We are always thinking of new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience.

Although the details surrounding the new feature are few and far between, social media consultant Matt Nakara shared the potential graphics of the feature from Hammond Oh, who is notorious for the new features on various social media platforms.

TikTok users have long been trying to find temporary solutions to save videos that they desperately want to watch over and over again.

A user, @rachforaday, has found a complex way to view TikTok viewing history – a feature that closes when the user leaves the page. He lists the process as follows:

Users can open the TikTok app and then scroll down and click on the “Discovery” icon. From there, click on the search bar at the top and type an asterisk.

. Click Search. Users will probably see “hashtag” suggestions but from there, all they have to do is go to the top right corner and click “Filter”. A screen should pop up automatically and show an option saying “Video viewed”. All a user has to do is turn the switch on and off and click “Apply”. It will automatically prompt them into their “top” feed and show them all videos they’ve seen in the last seven days, according to Fox 29. Want updates directly in your text inbox?
