Chile! Tony Rock began his stand-up comedy routine on Friday by reminding viewers of the Oscar slap involving his brothers Chris and Will Smith.
In a #TSRE exclusive clip, Tony can be seen opening his Rally, North Carolina, performance with a caution, saying, “If you think you’re going to get on this stage, it’s not an Oscar winner.”
“And if you go here, you are not nominated for this Mutaf’s hand!” She was surprised. “Oh, we’re going to pop the rest of the year. Whenever you see me do a show, pop!”
“I didn’t want to start the show like this!”, He kept waving his hand in the air. “Will you kill my mother and brother because your bitch has her eye on you?”
This is the second time Tony has said this. Earlier this week, Tony shared his thoughts on Twitter about what happened during his Q&A session. 20 questions on Tuesday. When asked if he plans to “fight the fire with fire” or take the “professional route”, he replied “it’s on”.
The show came just hours after Will released a statement announcing his resignation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Although he has resigned, the board is scheduled to meet on April 18.
