[Video] Will Packer said the LAPD was “ready” to arrest Will Smith

The tragedy of Will Smith and Chris Rock continues, with new details being released daily with new ones from producer Will Packer.

The “Think Like a Man” producer, who led Oscar’s first all-black production team on Sunday night, sat down exclusively with ABC News and said that the LAPD was ready to arrest Will Smith.

“They were saying, you know, the battery they were using at the moment,” Packer said. “They said we were going to take him; We are ready. We are ready to get him now. You can charge. We can arrest him. They were making options, and while they were talking, Chris was rejecting those options very much. She said, ‘No, I’m fine.’ He was, ‘No, no, no.’

Packer added that he did not speak directly to Will Smith after he was slapped.

As you know, the LAPD issued a statement on Sunday night stating that “investigative agencies were aware of the incident” but Chris Rock refused to file a police report.

Most recently, Tony Rock said on Twitter during a weekly question-and-answer session, “It’s on.” One commenter asked, “Do you approve of an apology?” Tony tweeted, “No.” When asked if Thangs would be “professional” or “fight fire with fire,” he replied, “It’s a brother.” As some assumed he was referring to places of business with Chris, the actor referred to the movie “Trading Place” when he was asked which movie he would like to act in.

Some asked if Smith’s Oscar should be revoked Tony replied, “Not my call.” As he continued, someone asked who hit the more powerful Smith or Jada’s boyfriend (apparently pointing to August Alsina), to which he replied, “Mama Rock.”

Will Smith has apologized since the incident.

Roomies, what do you think of this situation?
